Foyer Journey
You were made for love that lasts forever.

Foyer is a 33-day journey program for Catholics who are seriously discerning marriage. It won't tell you whether to get married — it will prepare you to do so wisely, freely, and with a whole heart.

Each day takes about five minutes. Simply read and reflect on the quotes about marriage, select some items to add to your Portfolio (items to further reflect or work on), and answer the four multiple choice questions correctly, and you are ready for the next day.

The 33 Days
Days 1–7 · Know God — You can only love another person as well as you love God. We start here.
Days 8–14 · Know Yourself — Your wounds, your temperament, your vices, your gifts. Honest self-knowledge is a prerequisite for lasting love.
Days 15–21 · Know the Covenant — What marriage actually is: a sacrament, a vow, a body language, a path to heaven.
Days 22–28 · Know Your Home — The daily life of a Catholic family: money, rest, hospitality, nourishment, time.
Days 29–33 · Know Your Readiness — Four review days and a capstone. Are you ready?

One Day at a Time

Complete each day before moving to the next. If you skip a day, your progress resets — not as a punishment, but as practice for the constancy of being a loving spouse in marriage. To complete the program, the 33 days must be 33 consecutive days. If you foresee being "off the grid" please use the form in your dashboard to specify the dates.
