Here's how everything works.
Messages
A shared message board right on the Home screen — perfect for "Running 20 minutes late!" or "Left the porch light on for you." Lose or find something? Post it and flag it as "This is a Lost & Found post" — it'll be highlighted for everyone, with a "Mark as Found" button once it turns up. Messages from the past ten days are always visible right there, no need to open anything else. Notifications are on by default; toggle them off in the Messages section if you'd rather not be notified. They work best while the app is open or installed to your home screen — they won't wake a fully closed phone the way a text message would.
Calendar
Click on a date and choose your name (or "Guest" if you're reserving for a non-family member). Choose which time period you'll be present for — Breakfast (8:00–11:30am), Lunch (11:30am–4:30pm), or Dinner (4:30–10:00pm) — then optionally add food items you're bringing, check what's already in stock, choose a room to stay in, flag whether you're there for a party and/or helping with maintenance, and leave a note up to 20 words. All of this is visible to other users.

Arrival Tasks
A checklist for getting the cabin ready when you arrive, grouped by building. Check items off as you go, or tap Claim so nobody doubles up on the same task.
Departure Tasks
A checklist for closing up before you leave, grouped by building. Once everything's checked off, you'll see an "All Clear!" message. Before your next visit, use the "Reset List" button to clear everyone's checkmarks and start fresh.
Daily Chores
Simple day-to-day chores to keep the cabin tidy during your stay — dishes, trash, straightening up.
Cabin Rules
House rules set by the owner — quiet hours, shoe policies, whatever keeps the cabin running smoothly.
Inventory
Tap any of the six categories to see and manage what's currently in stock — all with Full/Low/Out status and an optional note (like a per-building breakdown):
Pantry — supplies, with a note at the top pointing you to the Calendar for current fridge/pantry photos. Tap "Show What We Need" before a grocery run.
Linens — bed sizes, sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels.
Water Sports — kayaks, paddleboards, pontoons, jet skis, and all water gear.
Games — board games and activities.
Utility/Tools — flashlights, batteries, basic tools, and safety gear.
Cabin Closet — each person can list what they've left at the cabin, per building.
Cabin Fun
Local activities, cabin traditions, and a place to share quick memories from your stay.
Hints & Tips
- During Departure, pull up the departure checklist on your phone and set it in a central area — everyone can claim and/or check off items as they're finished, minimizing the need to run back and forth from the beach to the parking area to the kitchen, etc.
- Same for Daily Chores — leave the checklist visible in a central spot so everyone can pitch in and check things off as they go.
Admin Settings
The helm icon in the top right always takes the owner to Cabin Settings Main Admin — enter your admin PIN once per session to unlock editing everywhere in the app. Guests use the same shared password but can't change the setup.
